The Micro Beam MB24HPUGSF High Power Wireless USB Adapter WLAN 802.11g 54Mbps use the Realtek RTL8187B + RTL8225 chipset (Works with Windows, Mac and Linux) has the option of adding external high gain antenna via the build in RPSMA connector. You can use it directly or can also connect a high gain antenna. The USB Adapter connector is RPSMA Female and come complete with a 5dBi Omni antenna with the RPSMA Male connector and 1.8m USB Ext cable. Transmit power is upto 25dBm and transmission distance is quite long. It is suitable for laptops and desktops making it ease to add high gain antennas and inprove your range. This unit can be setup as an AP via the software included.
